How much does a guest post cost?
Across 48,572 priced guest posting listings on BacklinksFusion, the median price is $47, and half of all listings cost between $29 and $102. Prices range from $14.90 to $998. Organic traffic explains price better than Domain Rating: sites with 100,000+ monthly visits have a median of $297.
Key findings
- The median guest post costs $47; the middle half of listings cost $29 to $102.
- Traffic tracks price: the median rises from $35 (no traffic estimate) to $72 (1–999 monthly visits), $118 (1,000–9,999), $150 (10,000–99,999) and $297 (100,000+).
- DR alone does not: DR 50–59 sites have a lower median ($59) than DR 40–49 sites ($95). Prices rise clearly only from DR 70 ($158 median for DR 70–79).
- 56% of priced listings (27,395) have no Ahrefs traffic estimate, and they are the cheapest group.
- Casino, CBD and crypto posts are accepted by about 60%, 60% and 64% of listings, at medians of $89, $82 and $89.
- The median listed turnaround is 7 days (middle half: 3–7 days).
- 63% of listings allow one link per post, 31% allow two and 6% allow three; 96% offer permanent links.

How much does a DR 50 guest post cost?
Listings with an Ahrefs DR of 50–59 have a median price of $59, with the middle half between $20 and $169. DR 40–49 sites have a median of $95 and DR 70–79 sites $158, so DR alone is a weak guide to price.
Why are some guest posts so cheap?
Cheap listings usually have little measurable search traffic. Sites with no Ahrefs traffic estimate have a median price of $35, while sites with 10,000–99,999 monthly visits have a median of $150.
Do casino, CBD and crypto guest posts cost more?
Yes. 29,264 listings accept casino posts at a median of $89, 28,987 accept CBD at $82 and 30,876 accept crypto at $89, against $47 for standard posts.

Methodology
- Population: all 49,009 publisher listings shown on BacklinksFusion on October 22, 2026, excluding the three fixed guest post packages. 48,572 of them had a price.
- Price: the standard price shown on each listing, in US dollars. Casino, CBD and crypto prices are the separate prices publishers set for those topics.
- Metrics: Ahrefs Domain Rating and Ahrefs organic traffic as stored on each listing. Listings without a DR are left out of the DR table; listings without a traffic estimate form their own row.
- Statistics: median and 25th/75th percentile. Rows with fewer than 200 listings are marked as small samples.
- Prices change as publishers update their listings. Current prices are always on the listing pages in the marketplace.
